Ray Maher – Mathematics Consultant
Ray has been Assistant Primary Strategy Manager and senior numeracy consultant at Education Bradford since 2001 where he has provided teacher training and in-school consultancy. He has been in advisory work for seven years. As well as having over 25 years teaching experience, Ray has also worked in the Far East as a mathematics facilitator, has been involved in the design of test materials and has published a wide range of resources that have been extremely popular with both teacher and pupils.
Joining Andrell Education in 2006 provides Ray with the opportunity to work with teachers and schools nationally. Ray aims to examine strategies and resources that have been proven to raise standards in mathematics. Ray will work closely with the Andrell Education Team as they extend their numeracy based software library. Publications focused on Raising Standards in Mathematics are planned for late 2006, early 2007.
